Verizon offers Netflix Premium and Paramount+ streaming package for $26
Everything you want to watch is easy to access these days without a cable subscription — but subscription fees can add up quickly. On average, streaming services charge between $5 and $15 per month for on-demand libraries. However, if you’re a Verizon Wireless customer, you might be able to save a little with a new plan: Starting June 2, the company is offering Netflix Premium and Paramount+ on Showtime for $25.99 a month.
The deal is available exclusively through Verizon’s play+ portal, which it introduced last year as a tool to help customers manage streaming subscriptions and discover new content. It’s basically a service that lets you consolidate all your airtime bills into one place, and this package seems like an incentive to get more users on the service. However, you must be a Verizon Wireless customer: Verizon Fios subscribers are not eligible.
A Netflix Premium plan on its own costs $19.99, and you’ll pay $11.99 for Paramount+ on Showtime — a Verizon plan can save a qualifying customer about $6 a month.
